1958 Gibson Les Paul Junior

This 1958 was subjected to the worst imaginable fate a lefty guitar can befall; it was once converted to righty! The teen who owned it in 1960 converted it to righty by installing a white full face Formica© pick guard, along with a Gretsch trapeze tailpiece and floating bridge!  The jack plate was broken at some point, and replaced with than the original rear control cavity cover, which was in turn replaced (along with a lost truss rod cover) using the same white Formica© the pick guard had been made from.

It has been restored lefty using correct vintage parts (with the exception of the pick guard and pickup mounting screws) and is once again making music.
